The NHL schedule came out yesterday. I’m working things out in my head because I reallllly want to go to a game or two this season. What about you? Continuing with the hotties of the slightly nerdy variety…Happy Cheesecake Thursday.

This is Karl Urban. I like this one. Yeah he’s another hottie from Star Trek, whatever. Be cool, the Zachary Quinto post is coming. Do you know how big my GQZQ collection is? I dunno, but big enough that I needed to get a folder to organized it all. Anyways Karl has like the most erotic eyebrows ever I think. He uses ‘em, gives ‘em a work out. Then I swoon. He tends to rock suits with the first few buttons undone which on most dudes I would say “oh god no.” But because it’s Karl I’m all like, “you know you can undo the rest right?” Man, I forgot to post the pics of him deep throating a microphone for the sake of a joke…Congrats ONTD, your voodoo worked. I now think Karl is babeorific.

Ya know, I’m about due for a check-up…

… I must see this movie…
I was thinking about trying to hit up a Coyotes game this season (preferably when the Flames or whoever is there) because going to the warm once in a while is faaannntastic and good seats will be had.
BTW… is the WHL ever going to release a schedule? I mean… “C’mon! We’e got plans to make, you know?!”

Ok so here is a full confession of m sci-fi nerdiness. LOVED him as Caesar on Xena.
Another confession, I am more of a trekkie than a star wars fan. I have this weird obsession with ‘cult actors’ like Michelle Forbes, the ones you recognize because they are in everything sci-fi but they rarely get name recognition. Michelle is one of my girl crushes. I have already had a Dog named Chekhov (yellow sweater = yellow retriever). I figured that if I ever had a black female retriever I would name it Ro Laren.

I’m a guy and I’ve had a crush on Michelle Forbes for years. Not so much from the Star Trek years, but definitely from Homicide: Life on the Street

Money’s bad. I was half-planning on hitting Toronto in March for a couple of games, but a friend and I are planning on road-tripping the eastern US and Canada next October/November instead. I’d never be able to afford both.
So I think it’s just the Marlies games in September for me.

I am hoping to hit T.O in March for spring break. Since winter break just won’t work out I don’t think. Getting tickets might be hard. I’ll see what I can make happen.

It’s the kind of thing, I’d bite the bullet for and scalp, but as I say, I don’t think I’ll be able to do it next season, sadly. Sometime ins 2010-11 is a cert, though.

I haven’t been this eager to get out my credit card since that time I found English riding boots that fit my calves *just* right. I want Pens/Isles bad (Penguins in my backyard! Early!). I’m also planning to attend Penguins and Red Wings games in their home arenas with my beloved instead of subjecting us to another Christmas with my more obnoxious relatives. We have to move so fast! We’re spending our gifts-to-each-other money, travel money, and time off on this trip. (Not to mention explaining this to my mom.) Hopefully our teams will recognize that we need them to win, and Crosby won’t treat us to another Christmastime performance of the Nutcracker Suite on Ice.
So, you enjoyed the Star Trek movie, then?
