Sunday Notes;

The Chiefs lost in overtime. I’m pinning this on Brett Bartman. Levkoooo Koperrrrr had a goal though. I’m just waiting for the home opener, really.

ALSO; the Panel (the ever expanding Panel, even) is going to mothereffing Everett on Tuesday for the Lightning/Coyotes NHL preseason game! We’re all crazy excited and we’re skipping work and school and sleep to get to this game. Fingers crossed Dustin Tokarski plays a period. I’m taking a sign. Can you guess what it will say? I’ll proudly wear my Tokarski Tampa sweater and hopefully remember to take a bunch of pictures. If you’re going to the game, email me!

Anyways, I’m going to try something new. This is your Sunday Open Thread. Yeah, go crazy. Talk about whatever. After the jump I cover some Glee and Supernatural.

Glee: it wasn’t quite as delicious as last week. But, there was the Acafellas, Mr Schusters guy group, who did an amazing rendition of This Is How We Do It. Josh Groban had a hilarious cameo, seriously I was in stitches laughing. And we did get a killer version of Bust Your Windows. I’ve been playing it constantly. The Cheerios might have seen the light and decided the Gleeks aren’t so bad after all. There may not have been a lot of music in this epi but there sure was a lot of heart and the idea of facing whatever is stopping you from being yourself. I’m constantly amazed this show comes from the man who writes Nip/Tuck. I’m really glad Fox seems to not be worried about ratings and all that and just letting the show breathe.

Best quote of Glee: “You don’t know who Josh Groban is? KILL YOURSELF.”

Supernatural: Sammy and Dean are still in cahoots. Bobby can’t walk and Castiel can’t heal him. But Cas does have a plan on how to take care of this Lucifer business: finding god. Uhm yeah. Which resulted in this amusing exchange of Dean suggesting where Cas can find god;

I paused the DVR here. I was laughing too hard. Dean and Sam get called to a town in Colorado that is apparently overrun with demons. But it only seemed that way because, surprise! One of the Four Horsemen was in town. And his ride was a cherry red Mustang. The epi ends with Sammy telling Dean his head isn’t in it to hunt at the moment. And Dean agreeing they need to go their separate ways. Dean did ask, “did you want to take the Impala?” Sam declined. And I want to know when the Brothers Winchester will be united. This is the preview for the next epi, which will have tons of CASTIEL.

There is no True Blood tonight. NOOOOO. But there is Mad Men. I could have written a blurb about it. But I will be more organized next time. What did you watch this past week?

    That is a great gif, I loved that bit, hilarious. I almost wish they’d just air the entire season in like three days. It is painful to wait for the next episode. I hope they do a sixth season. Supernatural is just endlessly awesome.
