Lepore was kind enough to send this my way. One of my new favorite (ish) bands, Vampire Weekend, did a hockey photo shoot with Time Out New York. I love them. You should too. An excerpt;
Chris Baio is ripping off a set of shin pads when his hockey getup suddenly reminds him of the most surreal moment of his career. “I was at Madison Square Garden for a Rangers game and our song ‘Mansard Roof’ came over the system during a time-out,” the Vampire Weekend bassist says, sitting down to join his bandmates for our chat.
Super rad photo;

Great band, great photo, great article.
I’ve never seen a game at MSG, but the fact that they obviously play a better class of music than other venues I’ve been to makes me want to go there more.

I love it when random celebrities turn out to be hockey fans. It makes the world so much awesomer.
