The Tokarski Debut.

I was in the middle of cooking dinner when my IM had a bunch of messages all at once letting me know that the Lightning pulled Antero Niittymaki and were putting in DUSTIN TOKARSKI. This is how I felt;

I was fainting like GaGa from happiness. I was nervous because Tokarski was put in to stop the bleeding and guess what? He effing did it. Now I’m worried about whether he’s keeping the 40 or switching back to 34. I might need to get my jersey re-numbered. Here are some of the images I was sent of Toka from Archi and Reasonable Doubt;

This is what he looked like before, sitting on the bench being all cute.

Here’s an awesome article to read about Mr Tokarski.

Drayson Bowman also got to play tonight for the Hurricanes. He saw just under ten minutes of time on ice and was a minus one on the night. But give the kid some time.

Welcome to the Big Show, kittens.

I’ve heard rumblings that Tokarski could start in net against either Carolina (!!!) or Toronto (!!!!!!!!!!!!)

  1. Wow, the WHL represented last night! Alexander Pechursky (maybe you know more about him than I do) stopped the bleeding for the Penguins, too. I’m glad Tokarski did you proud and used his opportunity to get NHL playing time well.

    Love how something called “Saveology.com” was positioned by a goal.

    • I don’t know too much about Alex since the times Spokane played Tri, Pickard was typically in net. I thought it was great so many W boys got their chance last night.

  2. Tok and Hedman in the same picture?! Like…WOW. I heart our former Chiefies to death.

    • Its out of control hottness.

  3. Congratulations. There were a number of people across the continent thinking about you once they learned that Tokarski made his debut. That save percentage looks mighty fine. A lot like perfection. Here’s hoping he starts against the Leafs.
