The Kyle Beach Show is back from winter hiatus. I think this will fill my time until Glee returns because stupid American Idol ruins everythingggggg. Last night Beach had Seattle Thunderbird netminder Calvin Pickard’s number. King Kyle scored two goals in the first period and was rampaging the rest of the game to get that third for the hattie.
Every Chief was out for defenseman Scott Ramsay. Ramsay pesting just about anyone he tangled with. He even went as far as shit talking Ryan Letts when Letts was on the bench. At one point Beach dropped gloved with Ramsay and it didn’t entirely go well. It wasn’t the beatdown we hoped for. But, Ramsay ended up being a minus 3 on the night. So he must have been too busy antagonizing to actually pay attention and do his job. Which really worked in Spokane’s favor. Also, hockey jokes that are funny if you watch BBC America; “Your face is a kitchen nightmare, Ramsay!”
Anthony Bardaro and Levko Koper also put up goals. Final Chiefs: 4 Thunderbirds: 2.
It was also FSN sign night. Which I thought was Saturday. There were about ohhhh 4 signs in the arena. Some of the best were: “James Reid has one goal, denying yours” and “I love hockey more than my mom (does)”
Oh and Kyle got first star and gave it to the toddler who sits in front of me. Ahwwwww.
The organization keeps pushing the scarves, insisting its a new tradition. It feels like they are trying to make fetch happen.
Tonight is Tyler Johnson bobblehead night. Oh dear god…

The Bardaro goal was a flippin beauty! Hope he sticks around.

Hey, those were my daughter’s signs
and I have to admit that I really didn’t like the “I love hockey more than my Mom…” until I saw the “does” at the end! Then it was cute!
Anthony’s goal was sweet. Gary Peterson has a couple of really good pictures of it. And I was sad that King Beach didn’t get his hat trick.
What’s with the refs, Wraparound?
