The Chiefs have hired Don Nachbaur as head coach. It leaked a few weeks ago he would be taking over but then the organization denied it. Actually, it was a non denial denial. They have really shitty public relations and don’t know how to word a press release or issue comments.
The NHL Draft took place and I wasn’t there. One, because I hate Los Angeles. Two, I need a bag o’ cash. The WHL was well represent in the talent pool. It brought such a smile to my face. The Portland Winterhawks in particular did well. My Toronto Maple Leafs picked up Brad Ross from the PDX. He’s a very Brian Burke player.
So the million dollar question with the coaching change is how long will it last? We’ve been through three coaches in ten years. Or is it four? Basically, we can’t keep anyone around. Though at the point I see half a bag of Doritos an improvement from the coaching styling of Hardy Sauter.
Hopefully I will no longer catch myself saying “WHAT THE HELL! Stop with the line mix ups! Those people don’t belong on those lines!” I will forever dislike the 2009-2010 season because of that. So many peoples numbers and development suffered, I think. *COUGH Levko Koper*

Totally agree with Rhaen. I predicted last year to be Levko’s year. Maybe this year??!!
I am hoping he stays awhile since he signed a 5 year contract (not that that means much), his familia is close, and he has a great track record. Can’t wait to see what he does with all the rookies. I want to see that Connor Chartier guy play some this year.
Who knows? Maybe he will be the one to finally freakin’ pay someone to take TC off our hands.

I think since they got the new coach they have a way better chance to succeed this year. i really am looking forward to it. TC blows yes but nobody else will have a need for him, i see the top scores being levko or tyler. maybe kenton will come around maybe even brassart. i really am not to big of a fan on holmberg. he seems clueless. people give me feed back. ha

I think Holmberg is just young and skittish and needs someone to help instill some confidence in him. I’m really excited for Baby Brassart this season. Perhaps the coaching shift will be a fresh start.

im pretty sure this seasons going to be good even though we lost alot. we still have quality players and an amazing goalie. so excited for the season.

I can’t afford a full season anymore. I think I’ll end up going on a game by game basis depending on school. I imagine I’ll be at the week day games.

Yes, I did. I was a full season ticket holder for…3 seasons? 4? I lost track. I know its a better deal but I don’t know what my schedule will look like come hockey season, school and a job (hopefully).
