I forgot to do it last week, but Sean Avery chopping away at Mike Komisarek was not cool at all. One, Komi is a gentleman and a scholar. Two, what the hell Avery? Don’t you have a long enough list of offenses? I know, this is a tad ironic coming from me given all the times I’ve defended his prior actions. But really, he was classless. I hope Colton Orr eats Avery tonight in the Leafs game.
So then this happened:
And while the week isn’t over yet, I’m not sure who can top Rypien going after a fan for no real reason. Though, it sort of made me long for the days when Darcy Tucker would have beers poured on him in the penalty box and would climb out and pound faces. Then again, I’d be pretty embarrassed if the Wild thumped my team that hard.
Anyways, congrats to Rick on winning Dick Move of the Week!
He also sucker punched Staubitz and shoved a ref before going after the fan.
PS: We own LOLongo. The receipt is somewhere in the X. He hasn’t finished any of his last 3 starts there.

From my understanding the fan was relatively well behaved and Rypien snapped.
I wonder if he will have to go to rehab like Avery did.
